Since 3 generations of Loacker producers, the employees select the best natural ingredients and create naturally light specialities. This continues what Alfon Loacker started in his little patisserie in Bozen in 1925. All of Loacker’s products are produced and processed in Aina di Sotto/Unterinn (South Tyrol, Italy) and Heinfels (East Tyrol, Austria) following traditional family recipes using natural and pure raw materials and with great craftsmanship.
In the last 90 years, Loacker has grown from a small regional patisserie to a global brand, with a presence in over 100 countries. The team at Loacker devotes itself to a careful selection of ingredients such as Italian hazelnuts, real Bourbon vanilla, delicious cocoa, sun-ripened raspberries, fine Loacker chocolate, fine quality milk and more for their family recipes. Loacker’s products do not contain any hydrogenated fats in their premium range. Non-hydrogenated coconut oil lends their cream a tender melt-in-mouth characteristic and ensures a neutral flavour.
The chocolate in all Loacker products is traditionally made using classic raw materials such as cocoa butter, cocoa mass, sugar, and milk powder for the milk chocolate. Loacker focusses on both quality of materials and preserving the nature that produces it. This is why at Loacker the environment is taken care of with the use of state-of-the-art production processes and technologies. The waste heat from wafer ovens, for example, is used to heat up the rooms using heat recovery technology.
