ESIC Relaxes Norms, To Pay 50% Off Three Months' Wages To Unemployed Workers

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) relaxed norms to pay 50 per cent of average wages of three months as unemployment benefit to cope with job loss between March 24 and December 31 this year, a move that will benefit 4 million industrial workers.
