Authentic Italian Table - Desserts

Part of the True Italian Taste initiative supported by the Italian Minstry of External Affairs and International Cooperation, implemented worldwide by Assocamerestero, the Association of Italian Chambers Abroad and in India by the IICCI - Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this edition of the Authentic Italian Table will be organised on Italy's Republic Day, on the 2nd of June, and it will focus on authentic Italian desserts, made with ingredients sourced from Italy  and traditional recipes. 

The event will be held simultaneously in the Indian cities of:

- Mumbai, at Gustoso Restaurant

- New Delhi, at Sorrento Restaurant,  Shangri-La's - Eros Hotel 

- Kolkata, at Ottimo Cucina Italiana Restaurant, ITC Royal Bengal

- Chennai, at Focaccia Restaurant,  Hyatt Regency

- Bangalore, Tiamo Restaurant, Conrad Hotel

In each location, an expert pastry chef will lead a demonstration on how to make simple home recipes starting from the ingredients while promoting the importance of IGP products in Italian food law.
