Wine in Focus: Chianti Montalbano DOCG from Tenuta di Artimino


Presenting an award-winning DOCG red from Tenuta di Artimino, the Chianti Montalbano 2018. Produced from a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes in the Carmignano area, Tuscany, with an alcohol content of 13.5 per cent, the Chianti Montalbano is a vivid ruby red with the aromas of red berries, roses and violets. With a persistent and pleasantly tannin flavour, it is a fresh and balanced wine.

This winner of the Chianti 2016 Award, is best combined with cold cuts, semi-seasoned cheese, first courses with meat sauces and grilled meat.
