Agrifood Project in Korea - Experimenting with a new model of e-commerce platform
The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) will organize a delegation, of importers and restaurateurs importing or using Made in Italy products, which will visit the World Expo 2012, held in Yeosu - South Korea, from 24 to 25 July 2012.
This will be part of a collective of delegations of importers, distributors and restaurateurs operating in the major Asian markets - China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, India, Singapore, Thailand - will be organized by all the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad in the Asia Area. This activity is part of a project dedicated to the Italian Agrifood sector, promoted by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development in collaboration with Assocamerestero - the Association of all the Italian Chamber of Commerce Abroad.
The objective of this project is to increase the volume of exports and imports of Italian products and to ensure their availability in the Asian market, through experimenting with new e-commerce tools, and to promote the Italian agrifood production through the Italian restaurants abroad certified with the Ospitalità Italiana seal of quality.
The World Expo 2012 will host an Italian Pavilion within which there will be a space dedicated exclusively to the excellence of Italian gastronomy.
All the delegates from the Asia Area are the main target of the project and for them presentations of Italian gastronomy, a platform to test the advantages of new electronic marketing tools and several tasting sessions of Italian products will be organized.
